Yesterday I shared some of our wedding color inspiration, now I wanted to show you some of the pics that put those colors into action on a tablescape. Think bold, shiny, and party-perfect!

One of first questions people ask after finding out about the wedding is what’s the color scheme. Well, the color scheme is pink, red, grey, white, and gold, but I’d like to think of it more like a combination of shades, textures, and patterns. So see our color inspiration below!

I just had to share the heart stickers in action, can’t wait to put up pics of the save the dates. Until then, see Nov. 20, 2011, is saved in my planner (left) and my mom’s calendar!
Eek! I’ve been so busy planning, working, and moving, I haven’t had any time to update our blog! But since some of you have received your save the dates already (directing you here), I wanted to give you all a quick update! Not all of the save the dates have been sent out (sorry, Canadians!), but the rest should be out in the next couple weeks. I’m not posting pics of the save the dates yet for the sake of those who haven’t received them yet, I like surprises, what can I say. But for those who have them, here are some tidbits.
First off, we will have the hotel info on here soon, but if you want to go ahead and research and book rooms now, feel free. The venue is the SmogShoppe in Culver City (Los Angeles). Secondly, I didn’t sign my name on the save the dates (oops!), but yes, I did paint them! And the AMAZING Lori from Paper and Thread did the rest!
One last note, the red heart stickers (above) are Knot and Bow, and I included them for you to put on your calendar/planner to “save the date.” 
More updates soon, hopefully, thank you for visiting!
We have some updates on the blog, including our registry info, an awesome picture of Ryker’s groomsmen when they were just lil guys, and lots of planning and booking vendors! Oh, and I found my wedding shoes! Can’t wait ’til our save the dates are finalized and sent out!

I finally asked my bridesmaids to be in my wedding party . . . and they said yes! Since I’m only having two, and neither are in SF, I decided to get creative in how I asked them. See my methods below! And to find out who the lovely ladies are, check out our Bridal Party page! (Ryker’s will be up in the next week or so. He probably won’t be using balloons or cake.)
